While BDSM Romance was not designed to be mostly imagery that is how it has tended since my health failed and I rarely write. That BDSM Romance has tended to be mostly Male/male is happenstance and not necessarily permanent. Dominant women often enjoy M/m bondage but straight submissive guys generally do not. But it isn’t the photographs that have prompted this note. Among the artifacts I’ve assembled are drawings of men punishing men. They aren’t erotic: unless the viewer projects his own sexuality into them. They are sometimes weird, often unpleasant. My dizzy pack rat cum curatorial sensibility won’t let me toss them away. On my old personal blog I was slightly surprised that dominant women would express pleasure in some of the images that I ran. Being a proper child of the era of the Womens Liberation Movement I have a complicated relationship with fear of exploitation. What would appeal to the women would be some idiosynratic element that marched something they saw in themselves or aspire to become. Variously it might be romantic heartless, savage or cool. And men in bondage. Alone in bondage. No one else. But those were photographs. I can’t help but feel I should be able to come up with some better than (artists unknown):
