The Black Cat was Hollywood’s Glamorous Detective Star because when she wasn’t a masked crime fighter she was a famous actress. Published by Harvey Comics, a company best known for Casper, The Friendly Ghost. Cover art by Lee Elias who I think drew the entire run of the comic book.
OK, I know this old cover of Laughter is a bit sexist. But it always makes me smile. I particularly delight in the use of a wedding ring as the boxing ring. Artist unknown.
