This appears to be the original cover art of a fantasy novel. I can’t read the signature.

If you know who painted this please leave the artist’s name in a comment.

I don’t know the illustrator but it might be a book by Sharon Green. I read all of her Femdom sort of books years ago and that cover looks familiar.
Now THIS is truly a work of beauty!
Wonderful.
It’s this sort of imagery that sparked my imagination when I was a young girl.
Thank you for displaying this for us.
What I love about this in particular is that it is far richer that the usual femdomme cliche.
Yes, Ms Black is quite right, this is a wonderful picture. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be the slave?
the artists name is ken kelly
Thanks for the identification.
no problem … i have a few collections of his work … it isnt all of this type of subject but it is all very high quality … if you are partly responsible for this website i must say thank you to you for the fantastic content here … cheers
The artist has a web page: http://www.kenkellyart.com
He calls this painting “The Priestess” and at
http://www.kenkellyart.com/items/thepriestess/thepriestess.html he
says of this painting: “I intended to make the Priestess an elegant
and sophisticated woman, I didn’t want to clutter her gown with a
lot of decorating patterns, smooth and beautiful. She also stands
out because of all the unusual characters around her and the
unfortunate soul at her feet.”
It was used as cover art for THE DIAMOND CONTESSA, by Kenneth
Bulmer, 1983, DAW Books, http://www.amazon.com/dp/0879978538/
Kelly’s bibliograpgies at the Internet Speculative Fiction Database
at http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?25685 and
http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?25833 — his “Ken Kelly” and
“Ken W. Kelly” listings haven’t been combined there yet — shows
that he did cover paintings for a bunch of John Norman and, yes,
Sharon Green books for DAW.
by mistake i went to “mrs” marina black webpage, who is saying in there….to join and follow international amnesty and some persons joseph anf david “foundations” (i m really curious, what these people have found out that i havent……) Personally considering all UNESCO Amnesty and other ECO “logical” crap , a good new way from devious people to get richer, using all kind of methods, i just inform you NOT TO FOLLOW, like “good submissive lambs”, any of these organizations unless you wish to be fooled. If you like to be submissives, its ok, and if you like to pay, its ok too. But pay for your own pleasure ONLY!
She likes Amnesty International. So do I.
I think Joseph Campbell is silly. But that another human being disagrees matters to me not at all.
Yep, Ken Kelly
